About The Installers

“A New Beginning”   The Installers have been rockin’ people in clubs around New Englandfor more than ten years. Like any band, they’ve gone through good timesand bad. They’ve played with some of the best: Roomful of Blues, DukeRobilard, and Sugar Ray Norcia, just to name a few. They also had theprivilege to play alongside Rock and Roll Hall of Fame nominee JayGeils, who joined them for a handful of shows over thepast severalyears including Westford’s annual Blues N’ Brews festival and a NewYear’s Eve show that nearly took the roof off The Bull Run Restaurant! During the recording of their highly acclaimed release “Nail It”(produced by Jay Geils) they lost original member Barry Callahan (rhythmand lead guitar), but gained the highly talented Shawn McCann (keyboards) who fit in nicely with the established veterans.    2007 brought with it additional changes to the band’s line up. BarryCallahan rejoined the band, making his presence known by re-injectingthe powerful rhythmic assault that he originally brought to the bandnearly a decade ago. With the band now enjoying their full line up and“In Your Face” dynamic sound, they headlined at the ‘07 Blues N’ Brewsfestival with a set that left the sold out crowd screaming for more.    Near the end of 2007 the band suffered the departure of originalmember Marc Rines (bass guitar). Marc played an important part indeveloping that “In Your Face” sound that helped launch the band intothe level of success they’ve enjoyed for the last 10 years, and we wishhim luck in his future musical endeavors.   They say change can be exciting, and though losing Marc was difficultthe band was quickly able to gain a new bassist: John Bruner. Playingbass guitar his whole life, with a degree in music, lessons from FrankGallagher of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, and playing with “EastwoodPeak” and the “Kieran McNally Band”, John’s addition to the band willcertainly add to the dynamic sound that put The Installers in therockin’ blues universe that fans adore.   With the blistering sound The Installers pose, the line up of StephenClarke (blow your face out vocals), Kevin Visnaskis (screaming leadguitar), Barry Callahan (solid rhythm assault), Shawn McCann (mindblowing keyboards), Jim Burns (back bone drums), and John Bruner (solidbass attack) 2008 promises to be a fantastic year for the band.   They say change can be good – with the changes and additions the band

has endured I’d say it’ll be fantastic. Web page link   Great web designer  www.yourpagetoday.com
